Via Ferrata del Cabirol

Via Ferrata del Cabirol

Via Ferrata del Cabirol, Capo Caccia, Alghero, Sardegna

The Via Ferrata del Cabirol, located on the sea stack of Capo Caccia (10 km north of Alghero), is probably the best one in Sardinia. It follows a natural series of exposed horizontal ledges, hanging 100 metres above the blue sea below. The panorama is truly breath-taking and anyone, from kids to elderly people, can enjoy it.

The Via Ferrata faces west, meaning it is on shade in the morning and thus possible to traverse even during the summer. To complete the entire route it takes about 3 hours and the approach from the parking space is as short as it could be: less than 500 metres 🙂
